On Sunday, August 28th, we lost a talented young soul, Nick Richling. Nick had been involved with SGC activities recently and was part of our anthropology networks for a long time. For over six years Nick was active in his father's anthropology endeavors, which included a field school with the Ute Mountain Ute which Andrea attended. Jack Schultz, Nick's father, is a respected mentor figure to both Andrea and Michael. Recently Michael was roommates with Nick and Nick came to the Pine Ridge Reservation just last year with Michael. Nick was a supremely talented grafitti artist and was going to school for a degree in fine arts. He will be missed. A celebration of his life is being held tomorrow, Saturday Septmber 3rd, at Greenbriar Park in Fort Collins from 11am to 3pm.
